Ellen + Sean | Oregon City, OR

At the end of the day, finding the person to laugh through life with is what we're all looking for.  Ellen and Sean know that first hand!

In September of 2024, the pair said "I do" surrounded by family and friends at the Tumwater Ballroom in Oregon City, OR.  The pair took what traditions pleased them, and threw out the ones that didn't, like the old custom of not seeing each other the night before the wedding.

"We woke up together in our home like every morning. When the sun rose, we curled up with our cat in bed and talked about how excited we were to get married. Then we had donuts for breakfast while my bridesmaids arrived one by one. There was no one else I would have wanted to spend my morning with."

Ellen was a dazzling bride in her Julia Leigh ballgown featuring vintage inspired lace and a tulle skirt.  She paired the gown with detachable blouson sleeves, giving the look versatility.  She also wore one of our favorite veils, the Goddess veil by Toni Federici, a cathedral piece which features stunning embroidered leaves along the edge.

"I loved having detachable sleeves. They were elegant and classy during the ceremony and our portraits, but I could take them off to enjoy dancing with friends and family."

Of course the day was full of unforgettable moments, but when looking back on their day, Ellen felt that their first look was the one that really stood out.

"Our first look was magic. Sean turned around and tears of happiness welled in his eyes. It was like time stopped for both of us and we could only laugh and sob at each other."

Congratulations to the newlyweds, Ellen & Sean!  Wishing you a lifetime of love and continued laughter!
