The wedding day began with light rain, not uncommon for a November wedding day in Oregon. However, just before Grace and Jasper began their outdoor ceremony, the rain stopped as if the clouds were taking a breath to watch the pair declare their love for one another.
"It felt like the clouds paused just for us. It was such a unique and special moment to pour our hearts out to each other in front of our family and friends (during our ceremony), and it's so fun to hear your love story through the other person's perspective." - Grace, when asked about her favorite moment of the wedding day
Before the pair exchanged vows, they enjoyed a private first look followed by portraits taken around the grounds of their stunning European-style estate venue, Chateau de Lis. The grounds boast gorgeous hidden spaces for intimate portraits, and opulent details for some of the day's more grand moments.
"We got to spend the whole morning together running around the venue holding hands and getting cozy for our photographer. Lots of staring at each other and appreciating the time with just us." - Jasper's response to his favorite moment from the day

Wedding planning is an inherently stressful process, so Grace and Jasper leaned on their wedding planners to help make the vision for their day a reality. They were able to trust their planners to navigate the industry and find them everything they wanted for the day (plus more they didn't know they needed) so their biggest piece of advice to couple's planning their own days is to hire planners!
"The industry is so difficult to navigate when you don't have any insight into vendors and pricing. Wedding costs stack up so quickly, and it can be so overwhelming to try and find it all on your own when you can't tell if what your looking at is a good deal or a total price gauge"
